Tanning Tips & Frequently Asked Questions
Tips

Before your airbrush tan:

  • Exfoliate your skin and avoid putting on any lotions, make-up, perfumes or deodorant prior to your airbrush tanning appointment

  • Hair, nails(mani/pedi) and shaving/or waxing should be done before your appointment

  • Once your airbrush tan is applied, you will want to wear loose/baggy dark clothing(jeans and yoga pants are not recommend, as they can cause the tan to develop unevenly)

  • Plan to wait  about 12 hours before showering or working out, so that your airbrush tan has plenty of time to fully develop

After your airbrush tan:

  • After 12 hours you are welcome to shower, the cosmetic bronzer will wash off

  • You should moisturize daily with an oil-free lotion

  • Before your next airbrush tan, exfoliate your current tan off (layering tans can cause uneven fading)

  • Your airbrush tan should last for the next 7-10 days!

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does an airbrush tan last?

Usually about 7-10 days.

How long is the appointment?

Anywhere between 15 and 30 minutes.

Does the airbrush tan stain my clothing or sheets?

The solution is washable, but may rub off on clothes/sheets before your first shower.

Am I going to look ORANGE or have STREAKS?

The solution that I use is bronze based, and goes on your skin with a brown tint to avoid the orange look. The tan is hand sprayed on, and has a cosmetic bronzer in it to help avoid any chance of streaking or missed spots, each tan is customized to your body.

Will I be able to get an airbrush tan if I'm pregnant or breastfeeding?

Typically yes, however it is recommend to ask your doctor first.
